Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun, also known as Dagrin was born on 21st of October 1987.He was an award winning rapper who incorporated Yoruba, English and pidgin into his style of rap. His genre of music opened doors to other artistes who followed in his footsteps. Today makes it 3 years since the young super star left for the great beyond after a tragic motor accident in Lagos. In 2010, shortly before he died, he was nominated for the Nigerian Entertainment Awards for Best Album (C.E.O.), Hottest Single "Kondo", Best Rap Act and Best Collaboration with vocals. His album C.E.O. (Chief executive Omoita meaning Chief Executive Gangster) won the Hip hop World Award 2010 for best rap album. His hit singles "Pon Pon Pon", and "Kondo" also came from that album. He later died at the age of 22 on 22nd of April 2010. We love and miss you Dagrin, but God loves you most. RIP Barack O'grin.
