Ejigbo LCDA chairman, Kehinde Bamigbetan kidnapped.


Mr Kehinde Bamigbetan, the current chairman of Ejigbo, Lagos LCDA has been kidnapped. He was kidnapped by unknown gunmen while returning home from work yesterday evening.
According to an eyewitness, the gunmen kidnapped him at Egbe Bridge around 11pm last night.
Before his kidnap, Mr Bamigbetan tried to escape but the 4-man kidnap gang overpowered him.
In a bid to escape for his life, the victim’s car hit an electric pole. His driver escaped the attack but Bamigbetan was immediately captured by the kidnappers who bundled him into their car before making an escape.
Meanwhile another report states that Bamigbetan was kidnapped by four gunmen on his way home from an event after work when he was about to enter his street, Ona Iwa Mimo Street,Ori Oke before Egbe Bridge in Ejigbo.
It was reported that he sat at the back of his black Ford Everest Jeep with special registration number KOK while his driver, Bioudun Olayiwola drove the car.
The gunmen were said to have released several gun shots into the air to scare away residents. While trying to escape from the assailants, the driver was later caught up with in a mud that got the jeep stuck.
Bamigbetan, was later taken away in the get-away car, yet to be identified. He is said not to have Police orderly since assumption of office. We are yet to ascertain exactly how it happened but the kidnappers have demanded a ransom of 1million dollars.

Shocker! So kidnapping has come to Lagos?? This is bad o. Poor guy. I pray he's safe tho.I really pray cos no one deserves to be taken against his will.
