The importance of God in our lives.

Good evening brethren. I want us to talk about God today. Most of us who claim to be Christians do not realize the importance of God's presence in our lives. Some have even become "sunday" Christians. Take sometime and reflect on your life. Ask yourself some questions. Have you had time or made out time to talk to God lately? How strong are you spiritually? God wants us to be holy. He's given us the privilege to come unto Him through our Lord Jesus Christ. In order to sanctify ourselves, we need to grow spiritually. Sunday is the Lords day. Therefore it should be kept holy; same as others days of the week. Let the work of our hands and the thoughts of our hearts glorify the Lord at all times. Let not your mouth which blesses, be the same to curse. I've come to notice that most people practice double standard of living. i.e You do something in the open and do another in secrecy. It is very bad! Live well so that your legacy shall speak well of you. Christ suffered and died on the cross of calvary so that the sins of you and I shall be forgiven. His holy blood was shed for us so that we may have eternal life and reign with Him in His everlasting kingdom. That being said, Isaiah 53v5 easily comes to mind. It says, "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed." Therefore is it too much of a task to devote ourselves to worshipping Him?  No. We owe him all the praise and honour. No matter how busy you are, be you a worker, or business man or woman, endeavour  to always make out time to spend with your creator. He's the reason for your existence. Without Him we are nothing. Continually stay in the presence of God. Try to please him in everything as a child tries to please his father. Thank Him for His constant grace and do everything with His love in your heart. Stay blessed. Happy sunday everyone and have a beautiful week ahead. Shalom.
